Delivering photography, explained.

Short answers to what photographers ask about delivering their work, and how each of them goes in Shyreo.

How do you deliver photos to a client?

Most photographers deliver a shoot as an online client gallery: one link where the client sees the photographs full width, marks favorites and downloads what you allow. It does what an attachment, a transfer link or a shared folder cannot: it shows the work the way you made it, under your own name. With Shyreo you upload the shoot, add your brand and send that one link.

What is a client gallery, and what should it have?

A client gallery is a private web page where a photographer delivers a shoot. The client views the photos, marks favorites and downloads them, under the photographer's brand. A good one is fast on a phone, never alters your originals, lets you decide who gets in and what can be downloaded, and tells you what your client did.

How do you deliver wedding photos?

A wedding is usually delivered as one online gallery for the couple, split into scenes such as Getting ready, Ceremony and Party. The couple marks favorites or makes a selection for the album, family downloads what you allow, and the link goes round to the guests. In Shyreo all of that happens in one gallery, under your own name.

How do event guests find their own photos?

With face search in the gallery: a guest takes a selfie and sees only the photos they are in, out of hundreds or thousands. In Shyreo this is called Find me. The selfie is compared and thrown away, faces are only compared inside one gallery, and it stays off until the photographer switches it on.
