Whole folders into a gallery. The browser can close.

Shyreo Uploader sends the photos of a shoot from your Mac into a gallery, folder by folder. Drag them in, pick the gallery and close the window: the app keeps going from the menu bar until every photo is in.

How it works

  1. 01 ▸

    Download the app

From Plug-ins in your dashboard. Open the ZIP and drag Shyreo Uploader into Applications.

  2. 02 ▸

Choose “Sign in with Shyreo” and confirm in your browser that it is you.

  3. 03 ▸

    Drag in a shoot

Drop the folder on the window and choose the gallery, or make a new one right there.

  4. 04 ▸

    Get on with your evening

Close the window. The menu bar shows the count, and a notification says when the gallery is complete.

What is in it

  • Drag in photos or whole folders, and choose a gallery or make a new one
  • Keeps going with the window and the browser closed; the menu bar shows how far it is
  • Your Mac stays awake while it uploads, and you get a notification when a gallery is done
  • Stopping or restarting loses nothing: it picks up where it was, without sending a photo twice
  • Signed and checked by Apple, so it opens without a warning; on every plan

Made for a full card

  1. 01

    Folders, not files

Drop a folder and everything in it comes along: JPEG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, TIFF and DNG. Several folders, or several galleries, wait their turn in one queue.

  2. 02

    In the background

The queue is kept on your Mac. Close the window, quit the app or restart: the next time it opens it carries on, and photos already in the gallery are skipped.

Connected once

  1. 01

    Sign in with Shyreo

The app opens shyreo.com, you confirm it is you, and it gets a code of its own in your Mac's keychain. You see that code under Plug-ins in your dashboard and can revoke it there.

Questions

Does my browser have to stay open?

No. That is the point of the app: it uploads on its own, from the menu bar.

What if my Mac goes to sleep or restarts?

While it uploads the app keeps your Mac awake. After a restart it continues where it stopped, and skips photos that are already in.

Which Macs?

macOS 14 Sonoma or later, on Apple silicon and Intel.

Is there a Windows version?

Not yet. On a PC, the browser and the Lightroom plug-in do the same work.
