How it works

    Open Team

    In Settings, follow the link to Team. You see everyone in the studio, and how many seats are in use.

  2. 02 ▸

    Send an invite

    Under “Invite a team member”, type their email address, pick a role and press “Send invite”. Shyreo first asks whether it is you.

  3. 03 ▸

    They accept

    They get a mail with “Accept invite”. Without an account they make a free one with that address; once they confirm their email, they are in your team.

    Switch between studios

    Accepting opens your studio in their dashboard. Anyone in more than one studio picks where to work by the studio name at the top of the menu.

    Change a role, or remove someone

    The owner and admins change a role next to a name under “Members”, or press “Remove”. An invite still open can be revoked under “Pending invites”.

What is in it

  • Roles: owner, admin, photographer, editor and viewer
  • Studio: up to 3 team members. Agency: up to 10
  • Adding someone first checks that it really is you

Roles and what they may do

  1. 01

    Owner

    Everything. Only the owner changes the plan, buys extra storage, Find me photos or video minutes, and can delete the account. The owner's role never changes.

  2. 02

    Admin

    Branding and brands, the studio name, the team, groups and Rolls. Deletes and restores galleries, deletes clients, and can take every original home.

  3. 03

    Photographer

    Makes galleries: with “New gallery”, by moving in folders or from Lightroom. Adds and edits clients, saves watermark presets and joins group galleries.

  4. 04

    Editor

    Works in galleries that already exist: uploads and replaces photos, arranges scenes, changes settings, access and watermark, answers comments and publishes.

  5. 05

    Viewer

    Sees every gallery, client and statistic, and changes nothing.

Seats and invites

  • You take one seat yourself: on Studio that leaves two, on Agency nine
  • An open invite takes a seat too, until it is accepted, revoked or expired
  • An invite works for 14 days, and only for the address it was sent to
  • Changing a role or removing someone asks whether it is you as well
  • Everyone gets the studio's notifications, each with their own switches in Settings

Questions

Does everyone on the team need a plan of their own?

No. The plan is the studio's. A colleague you invite only needs a free account, which comes with a studio of their own, and works in yours under your plan.

What does a team member see?

Every gallery, client and photograph in the studio. What they may change depends on their role, which the owner and admins can change at any time.

I also shoot for other studios. Do I need an account for each?

No. Each studio invites the same email address, and you switch between them by the studio name at the top of the menu. Your own studio stays yours.

What happens to someone's galleries when they leave?

They stay. A gallery belongs to the studio, not to the person who made it. Their Lightroom code stops working at the same moment.

Can we deliver under different brands?

Yes. Studio holds 3 brands and Agency 25, your own included. The owner and admins set them up under Branding; whoever makes a gallery picks one under “Brand”.
